What counts as an affiliate link here

Every tour card, every booking button and every availability widget on this site is an affiliate link to GetYourGuide, a licensed online travel agency. They carry my partner id so that a booking can be attributed here. Ordinary links between pages of this site are not affiliate links, and there are no other advertisers, no sponsored placements and no paid reviews. No operator has paid for a position, a phrase or a star.

What it does not change

Not the ratings, not the order, and not what I tell people to avoid. The clearest proof is that the reviews hub puts the most commissionable product in Tromsø last on its own score: the hybrid-electric boat is the one most visitors book and it carries the lowest average of the six. Every review names a genuine drawback, and several of them send specific groups of people away from a booking altogether — usually towards the accessibility limits or the honest verdict, neither of which earns me anything.

What I am not selling

I am not an operator and I do not sell seats, gear, transfers or entry to anything. No affiliate link on this site buys you a sighting, because nobody sells those. If a page here ever reads as though a tour can promise you an orca, it is wrong and I want to know about it: contact me.
