Things I can help with

• A fact on this site that is wrong, out of date or unclear. Tell me which page.
• Which tour suits your trip, if the reviews and the comparison have not settled it between them.
• Something you found on the water or at a meeting point that contradicts what I have written. Departure points and inclusions move between seasons, and I would rather hear it from you than work it out from a complaint.

Things I cannot help with

I am an independent guide, not a tour operator. I cannot change, cancel or refund a booking; that goes through GetYourGuide using the confirmation email they sent you. I cannot hold a seat, move you to another departure, or exercise a second-chance re-booking on your behalf — that is between you and the operator, and what those policies do and do not cover is on its own page. I cannot tell you where the orcas were this morning in any way that predicts tomorrow, and neither can anyone else.

Before you write

Four questions arrive most weeks and all four already have pages. When should I come: the season, month by month. What do I wear under the suit: what to wear. Will I be sick: probably manageable. Can I bring my six-year-old: sometimes, and it depends entirely which tour.
